Updated guidance for Care Homes on Managing Acute Respiratory Outbreaks

Updated guidance on the management of acute respiratory infection outbreaks in care homes was published on 24 July 2024. The guidance states it is important to ensure 'proportionate, risk-based and time limited interventions are required to protect health, social and emotional wellbeing of residents.' The guidance relates to infections such as Covid 19 and influenza.
