Cuckooing – new toolkit to prevent and disrupt cuckooing

The School of Law at Leeds University has produced a toolkit with a range of resources for health and social care professionals around cuckooing. This is a form of criminal exploitation where vulnerable people are coerced into providing access to their home to criminals, who then use it as a base for their activity. Such activity may include sex work, storing cash and weapons, or dealing drugs. Perpetrators may also take over a property to financially abuse its occupier. The toolkit is available from here : https://essl.leeds.ac.uk/downloads/download/250/preventing-and-disrupting-cuckooing-victimisation-professional-toolkit
