Please note this course has not been designed for health/social care staff. Places are limited and free places are only being offered to families or informal carers that are non health/social care professionals. If you are (also) a health or social care professional- please speak to your employer to request Mental Health Act training or view our range of courses designed for professionals.
We are hosting a new free course for families and informal carers covering the Mental Health Act. The course will be run by our Director Christine Hutchison. The course will provide an overview of the Mental Health Act and the rights people have under this law.

How- does it work? What is the process for admission to hospital, discharge from hospital and community options under the Mental Health Act?
What rights do people have under the Mental Health Act?…
