Mental Capacity Act for Families and Informal Carers

Places are limited and free places are only being offered to families or informal carers that are non health/social care professionals. We are hosting a new free course for families and informal carers. This course will focus on mental capacity in the context of day to day activities and understanding some of the key duties as a Lasting Power of Attorney or Court Appointed Deputy. The course will be run by our trainer Piers McNeil

• Who does the Act apply to?

• The 5 legal principles underpinning the Act
