Aims

Delivered by a distinguished former judge of the Court of Protection, author and mental health lawyer, this intensive one day course is designed to help professionals understand the legal requirements of assessing and recording litigation capacity, properly navigating the correct process for incapacitated parties in both the Court of Protection and Mental Health Tribunal. The course will also explain the fundamental link between the ECHR and effective participation of incapacitated people in the legal process.
