Camilla Parker

Camilla Parker is a legal and policy consultantspecialising in the areas of mental health, disability and human rights.  She has written, presented and trained extensively on issues relevant to these areas. Camilla was the main author of The Legal Aspects of the Care and Treatment of Children and Young People with Mental Disorder: A Guide for Professionals, (DH/National Institute for Mental Health in England, January 2009) and worked as a consultant for the Department of Health on the revision of the children and young people’s chapter in the Mental Health Act 1983 Code of Practice (2015). She is a member of the Law Society’s Mental Health and Disability Committee
